Cons: Because apparently there has to be something wrong with it… there’s no diesel engine offered in North America, and there are only two models to choose from. Oh, the horror.
2015 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Wagon Price and Fuel Economy: As mentioned above, there are only two E-Class wagon models to choose from. The pricing is as follows (base MSRPs):

- 2015 Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG S-Model 4MATIC $113,500
Fuel numbers range from 10.8L/100km (for the 6 cylinder) to 13.3L/100km (for the 8-cylinder model).
Powertrain: There are only two engines (one in each model) available for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz E-Class wagon lineup. In the E 400 wagon you’ll find a Bi-turbo V6 unit that produces 329 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. And in the E 63 AMG S-Model wagon sits a fabulous 32V Bi-turbo V8 that will turn out 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Swagger wagon, indeed.
Across the board, a 7G-TRONIC PLUS 7-speed automatic transmission is found, save for in the AMG model that features an AMG-bred version of the same set-up. Both E-Class wagons feature Merc’s all-wheel drive system (4MATIC).
Changes and Improvements: No major changes have been made to the E-Class since its extensive refresh in 2013. However, the next generation is in the works to be revealed soon.
Cargo Capacity: With the rear seats folded, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz E-Class wagon can swallow up 1,950 litres of cargo. With the rear seats up, you’ll still be able to cram 695 litres of stuff back there.
Safety: The 2015 Mercedes-Benz E-Class wagon comes equipped with all manner of standard safety equipment and airbags along with DISTRONIC PLUS with Steer Assist (to keep you in your lane), BAS PLUS with Cross Traffic Assist, PRE-SAFE Brake with Pedestrian Detection, PRE-SAFE PLUS (which assesses a rear-end impact with rear sensors and adjust occupant protection accordingly), ATTENTION ASSIST, and COLLISION PREVENTION.
