Audi today posted the first pictures of its new Prologue Allroad, set to join the sedan and wagon as the third member of the Prologue family. This off-road vehicle will have its world premiere in Shanghai on Monday.
A 4.0L TFSI V8 engine combines with an electric motor (built in the 8-speed Tiptronic autobox) to give the Audi Prologue Allroad 724 total horsepower and a range of 50 kilometres in EV mode. With quattro all-wheel drive in the mix, as well, acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes just 3.5 seconds. There is a wireless inductive charging system similar to the Audi Q7 e-tron.
Riding on 22” wheels and standing 5.13 metres long, the Audi Prologue Allroad benefits from a 77mm taller ride height, flared fenders, a redesigned front fascia, 20” carbon-ceramic disc brakes, a partially black rear bumper, and roof fails. Inside, four individual seats await occupants, along with a slick new infotainment system featuring an OLED display.
