After a shortened New Hampshire 125 race, Brett Moffitt won and kept his NASCAR K&N Pro Series East title hopes alive with a win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Moffitt led a race-high 53 laps en route to his seventh career win and first at the "Magic Mile." The Michael Waltrip Racing development driver cut the points lead of Joe Gibbs Racing's Max Gresham to 21 entering the season finale Friday, Sept. 30 at Dover International Speedway.

Gresham, who had a 65-point lead entering the race weekend, finished seventh Friday. The race was stopped after 78 laps due to rain and darkness.

Revolution Racing teammates Sergio Pena and Darrell Wallace Jr. finished second and third, respectively. Matt DiBenedetto was fourth and Eddie MacDonald fifth.

A day to forget for NASCAR Canadian Tire 2-time champion Andrew Ranger, retired while in the pits trying to repair his car, damaged earlier in the race.
