The Lincoln MKS is a hint to the very possible direction that Ford's in-house luxury brand might take. This premium luxury sedan features the sporty and
muscular edge that has been lacking in Lincoln dealerships. The Town Car and Continental floaty boats are a thing f the past.
The MKS has all the necessary attributes to make it a potent competitor in its segment: a 315 hp 4.4L V8, AWD, a 6-speed autobox, DVD-audio, Bluetooth communication and 20" wheels. The MKS is physically quite attractive with coherent fluid lines and expressive styling.
When the car hits showrooms across North America in the near future, I cannot imagine that customers will miss the old Town Car after having looked at and taken the MKS for a drive.
