Two body styles will be available: a 4-door sedan and a 5-door hatchback. Trim levels will include a base model and a Sport package with fog lights, alloy wheels and a skirt kit. Under the hood will be a 1.5L I-4 producing 109 hp and 105 lbs-ft of torque. Transmission choices will be between a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic with paddle shifters.
The Fit will have the most standard features in its category including air conditioning and 6 air bags. Competition to the Fit will be the Toyota Yaris, Chevrolet Aveo / Pontiac Wave, Hyundai Accent and the Kia Rio.
