Through an alliance with Nissan that began last January, it's now NASA's turn to introduce an autonomous “Modular Robotic Vehicle,” as reported by Slash Gear.

Styling and aerodynamics are nowhere to be found, here: The concept unveiled by NASA looks like a giant golf kart (7'x5') and weighs 2,000 lbs. It has the potential to reach speeds of 65 km/h, but for safety reasons developers limited its current top speed to 25 km/h.

Not only are the four wheels driving this machine, but they also swivel 180 degrees to allow otherwise impossible manoeuvres.
