Oh, how things have changed since Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo handed over the reigns to Sergio Marchionne.
Motor Trend's Jonny Lieberman, citing an inside source at Fiat-Chrysler, last week tweeted a scoop about a twin-turbocharged, V6-powered Ferrari coming to market by 2019 at a price of around $180,000 USD.
Lieberman hinted that this baby Ferrari could rival the McLaren 570S and Mercedes-AMG GT not only in terms of pricing but also performance.
In related news, Fiat-Chrysler will develop two new engines for future Alfa Romeo cars (whose identity remains unknown) in an effort to solidify the brand. Look for 4- and 6-cylinder units, with the latter derived from Ferrari.
