Today in Shanghai the new 217-horsepower Volkswagen Scirocco GTS made its global debut, promising 0-100 km/h acceleration in 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 246 km/h.
Outside, the Scirocco GTS stands out with 18” Norwich wheels (19” Laguna wheels are optional), red-painted brake callipers, as well as an R-Line exterior package including distinctive R-style bumpers (at the front with integrated fog lamps and glossy black radiator and air inlet grilles), custom side sill extensions, a roof spoiler (also R-style).
The interior of the Volkswagen Scirocco GTS is dominated by the sporty colours black and red. Other highlights include a black headliner, GTS logos on the door sills, a customized sports steering wheel with red seams, and a golf-ball shift knob.
Among the options are bi-xenon headlights, navigation, and a multi-function steering wheel.
Sadly, the Volkswagen Scirocco GTS will not be sold in North America.
