Pre-Order Kia’s Fastest Car Ever Made The 2018 Stinger is a bargain among sports sedans

First unveiled in Detroit at the beginning of this year, the all-new 2018 Kia Stinger is the fastest car ever developed by the Korean automaker. We now have more details on the 5-seat coupe-style sports sedan, which has just been made available for presale to Canadian consumers. Only 200 units will be made available in Canada, with the presale period lasting until noon on October 6 – visit www.kia.ca/stinger to place your order!

"To satisfy the growing demand for this vehicle, we're excited to offer the company's first-ever presale opportunity so that those who want to stand out from the crowd can do so," explained Ted Lancaster, VP & COO, Kia Canada.

Two versions of the model are being made available: the Stinger GT starting at less than $47,000 (19-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, adaptive suspension, etc.) and a more luxurious Stinger GT Limited, priced at just under $52,000 (additions include Nappa leather seats, ventilated front seats, head up display and 15-speaker Harmon/Kardon audio system). Official pricing will be announced just prior to the arrival of the Stinger in Canada, which should be towards the end of November.

The 2018 Kia Stinger, which aims to take on luxury sports cars like the Audi A5 Sportback and the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, will be the first Kia sedan to offer buyers a choice of rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The latter will prioritize the rear wheels and work with a dynamic torque-distribution system to optimize power and road grip for each wheel.

Its 3.3L V6 twin-turbo engine generates 365 hp and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. Both it and the 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbo engine (252 hp) that will be made available later in a lower-priced version of the Stinger will be wedded to an 8-speed automatic transmission with manual mode.
