Next month at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show Ferrari will introduce the GT4C Lusso, a 4-passenger luxury sports car with all-wheel drive and, for the first time, active rear-wheel steering. This model is based on the Grand Tourer concept.
The letters “GTC” are inspired by legendary cars such as the 330 GTC and 330 GT 2+2, as well as the 250 GT Berlinetta, while the number “4” refers to the number of seats.
Under the body of the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso is a 680-horsepower V12 engine. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes just 3.4 seconds, and top speed is rated at 335 km/h. The active rear-wheel steering system, called 4RM-S, comes from the 4RM Evo system that features Slip Side Control 4.0, E-Diff (electronic differential), and SCM-E shocks.
Design highlights include a sloping roofline, a hatchback-style body, a sporty and roomy interior, a 10.25” high-resolution touch screen, and a compact, more ergonomic steering wheel.
