Venturini Motorsports driver John Wes Townley took pole then went on to win the Lucas Oil 200 presented by MAVTV American Real at the Daytona International Speedway.
The race was the 50th annual ARCA Racing Series event at the fame Floridian track.
“It’s one thing to win your first race in ARCA, it’s another to win at Daytona,” Townley said after the first win in the 31-year history of Venturini Motorsports at Daytona.

Mixed showing for the two Frenchmen present as Julien Jousse was forced in the pits after his engine overheated on Lap 9 while running fourth behind Bobby Gerhart.
Michel Disdier on the other hand finished 11th for Cunningham Motorsports as he succeeded in staying out of trouble during the event and proving that he was competitive on a super-oval.
