Cadillac will host a media event at the end of this month to introduce two new performance cars, the CT4-V and the CT5-V.
The latter is a natural follow-up to the CT5 production model that made its debut this past March. But in the case of the CT4, it means the V performance version will launch prior to the regular edition.
Camouflaged test versions of the CT5-V have already spotted and you can find spy shots online. In some of those the model even can be seen dressed in the shell of the CTS-V - which the CT5-V is replacing in the automaker’s lineup.
Recently, test versions of the CT4 have also been seen, and these sightings confirm that the car will get similar proportions to the ATS.
Ahead of the official reveal, we don’t yet know what powertrains the two cars will run on. Will they be fitted with a V6 turbo, or a 4-cylinder turbo, notably in the case of the CT4-V? It’s not impossible that both will get the same engine, but with different settings for each.
Stay tuned for the official presentation by Cadillac on May 30.
