Chrysler has announced pricing for Canada for its all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica hybrid; the plug-in minivan will be offered starting at $56,495. While this price point seems elevated, it actually comes in at only $3,500 above the Limited Edition of the Pacifica ($52,995), which cannot be plugged in. What’s more, several government incentives in place help bring the price of the world’s first plug-in minivan down to a more affordable level. Depending on your province of residence, you can benefit from incentives ranging from $8,000 to $14,000 (only three provinces actually offer price reductions); MSRPS are therefore as follows:
- Ontario: $42,495
- Quebec: $48,495
- British Columbia: $48,245
As has been previously reported, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica hybrid has a range (in all-electric mode) of 48 km, and a total range of 850 km. Its fuel consumption is listed at 2.9L/100km. Maximum speed for the minivan in electric mode is 120 km/h. Charging time for the battery is expected to be two hours on a 240V outlet, and 14 hours on a 120V outlet.
