Ken Hendricks, founder, chairman and chief executive officer of ABC Supply Co., Inc., died December 21 after a construction site accident.

ABC Supply Co. is the primary sponsor of the No. 14 A.J. Foyt Racing car in the IndyCar Series since 2005 and the title sponsor of the ABC Supply/A.J. Foyt Indy 225 at The Milwaukee Mile. Hendricks was 66.

Hendricks, a contract roofer, became the head of the country's largest, privately-owned roofing supply business, approaching $3 billion annually in sales. ABC Supply Co. is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
