British driver and former World Champion Lewis Hamilton has revealed he and Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg have cleared the air in the wake of the tension between them at the Grand Prix of Monaco.
Friday, Hamilton tweeted: "we're cool, still friends".
The long lasting relationship between the Mercedes AMG drivers appeared to be broken in Monaco following Rosberg’s controversial pole position on the streets of Monte-Carlo.
Friday, Hamilton wanted to prove the world he and Nico have apparently cleared the issue.
"We've been friends a long time and as friends we have our ups and downs," Hamilton tweeted.
"Today we spoke we're cool, still friends #noproblem."
Hamilton's tweet included this photo of the then teenage pair riding unicycles.
