The villain in the next James Bond movie, Spectre, will be driving the Jaguar C-X75 concept that was introduced at the 2010 Paris Auto Show and will never go on sale, Autocar reports.
This hybrid supercar, which produces in excess of 850 horsepower thanks to a supercharged and turbocharged 1.6L 4-cylinder engine and dual electric motors, accelerates from 0-160 km/h in under six seconds. Its 7-speed, dual-clutch transmission changes gears in fewer than two tenths of a second.
That being said, for production purposes, the C-X75 will apparently be fitted with Jaguar's supercharged 5.0L V8 instead.
Jaguar cars previously made an appearance in Casino Royale (2006) and Die Another Day (2002): the XJ8 and XJR in the former, and the XKR in the latter.
