Lexus has a reputation for building some highly desireable performance and luxury cars, two of which are about to be available with a new lineup of performance accessories. The line of parts for the Lexus IS models was launched at the 2007 SEMA show in Las Vegas this week.
Parts include a wide selection of TRD-developed add-ons which are covered by the Lexus new vehicle warranty.
F-Sport 19-inch wheels can be bolted on, and feature a staggered fitment and unique dark graphite finish. The new wheels can be installed just outside of a front brake upgrade which is designed to enhance pedal feel and offer improved fade resistance. Intended for performance minded drivers, the six-piston callipers come with low-dust pads, braided steel lines and drilled rotors to ensure crushing and consistent stopping power. A ceramic brake upgrade is available too.
For added sound effects, owners can specify an F-Sport exhaust system with polished mufflers and tips for a distinct sound. A performance lowering spring kit leaves the IS sitting about an inch closer to the road while improving its handling and stance. They're available alongside upgraded sway bars and shocks.

"The F-Sport performance accessory line helps to further realize each owner's desire to personalize their car's performance to best match their needs."
