Despite the financial crisis, high-end luxury brands are still generating good business and are cranking even more extreme versions of their cars.
The Quattroporte Sport GT S is the latest and greatest version of the Italian automaker's sedan. Powered by the GranTurismo S' 4.7-litre V8 engine that develops 440 horsepower and 361 lb-ft of torque, the GT S also gets a transmission software remapping, a revised suspension setup with a lower ride height as well as a new sport exhaust with pneumatic valves for a deeper sound.
Visually, the Sport GT S is recognizable by its blacked-out grille, its Trident logo with red accenting, new headlights and perforated Alcantara and leather seats and interior trim. The cockpit also features a novel trim called TitanTex, an aluminum-coated titanium fibre fabric.
