The 2005 Pontiac GTO coupe has been available for a little while in the US. It is a re-badged Holden Monaro from Down-under. It is powered by a 6.0L V8 engine shared with the C6 Corvette. The nameplate GTO may be very Pontiac and GM in heritage however its interior is the least like any other GM: the plastics are of better quality than is expected and the assembly is actually good.
The 2006 Pontiac Torrent, basically a re-tagged Equinox, will hit showrooms by the end of 2005.
The 2005 Pontiac G6 replaces the Grand Am. Its outer dimensions are smaller than the Sebring and similar to those of the Mazda 6. The interior plastics remain unfortunately on the cheapish side. The base engine is the 3.5L V6. The GTP gets the 3.9L V6.
