Hyundai and HKS have teamed up to create a high-performance version of the Genesis Coupe. It'll be ready in time for the SEMA show, which showcases modified vehicles and will be presented in Los Angeles next November.
To produce this unique Genesis Coupe, the parties elected to use a 4-cylinder turbo engine instead of the powerful 3.8-litre V6. Producing 210 hp, the mill has been completely revised by HKS.
It's now equipped with a bigger turbocharger, the HKS GT. Several internal engine components have also been improved, and the engine computer has been reprogrammed. What's more the Genesis has inherited new exhaust and air intake systems, both less restrictive.
An adjustable suspension improves the coupe's ride. As for styling, the new Genesis sports a set of side skirts, enhancing its aerodynamics as well as its look (obviously).
With this long list of touch-ups, Hyundai and HKS make a strong argument and are sure to attract tuning fans.
