Hyundai's Sonata gets improvements for 2009
On sale in a few weeks, the 2009 Sonata gets a new grille, bumpers, lights and alloy wheels.
Mechanically, both engines in the Sonata get a little more power: the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder now produces 175 horsepower and 168 lb-ft of torque, while the 3.3-liter V6 now has an output of 249 horses and 229 lb-ft.
The instrument panel of the 2009 Sonata has also been redesigned, and was inspired by the one that's found in the Veracruz SUV.
