First observations – long-term road test of the Toyo Observe G3 Ice 215 50R17 – 2017 Chevrolet Volt.
While we still await the season’s first serious snowfall to provide you with our comments on the Toyo Observe G3 Ice tire, we were surprised by its ground adhesion and snow evacuation capabilities following the first accumulation of snow to hit our region last Monday!
In recent weeks we had already tested out the ability of these tires to handle rainy conditions without running a risk of hydroplaning – a test they passed with ease. And let’s face it, autumn rainfalls, like those in wintertime, can be a veritable challenge for motorists.
We made note as well of the impressively comfortable ride this tire offers, and the fact that it does not diminish or impede the Volt’s road handling performance. Beyond that, we will be getting back to you with our observations when driving on ice, and especially, in frigid conditions.
Stay tuned, and make sure to check out the video to learn more about the G3.
