Motorcycle gearheads and thrill seekers, you have to try this once in your life. There’s nothing like a track day to feel exhilaratingly, blisteringly alive.
Track days aren’t like race days: there are no rankings, no obligations to perform, no official times to clock and even less records to beat. Track days are about three things: fun, safety and passion. They’re days shared with friends and two-wheel motorsports fans who gleefully rip that throttle wide open in a place where the long arm of the law doesn’t reach.
We riders in Eastern Canada are lucky, because we have a whole host of places to put in some lapping thanks to the many clubs across Quebec and Ontario.
Looking for a nice track? Sanair, Mécaglisse, the Autodrome St-Eustache, ICAR and the Circuit Mont-Tremblant are all less than 1 ½ hours away from Montreal. A little farther afield but oh-so-worth-it are Shannonville, Mosport and Calabogie in Ontario.
It’s so liberating to indulge in your speedy fantasies, to discover the full potential of your sport bike at your own pace, to learn the best trajectories and to experience thrills that no public road can ever offer. And there’s nothing better than sharing your passion and good times with fellow enthusiasts in the intoxicating atmosphere of the pit lane where gorgeous machines vie for your attention.
Designed for those who enjoy aggressive riding, these track days allow you to fully explore the incredible dynamics of your supersport or superbike. Over the years, they’ve become real cutting-edge Grand Prix machines, machines that we just can’t open up on our roads, machines that can top 150 km/h in first gear and rocket from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds.
Here you can ride in complete freedom, with a few safety regulations as your only restriction. Because happiness is pushing the limits on a fantastic course all day and then winding down with a tasty meal, a cold beer and some good friends at a local restaurant – in one piece. And to think, it’s only December. It’s gonna be a long winter…
