Rob Huff (Chevrolet) won both final rounds of the season in Macau. But it was his team-mate Yvan Muller who clinched the title with his 2nd and 3rd positions.

Before Macau, Yvan Muller led by 20 points ahead of Huff. But the Brit kept his title hopes alive after the qualifying, as he was about to start from pole position in race 1, and 4th position on the grid for race 2, while Muller was qualified in positions 2nd and 8th.

In race 1, both Chevrolet drivers remained very close, but Huff was able to maintain the lead ahead of Muller. In race 2, Huff could take the lead at the beginning of race 2, but Muller was able to move up in the same time to 4th place, which was enough for him to secure title in case of Huff's win. Muller finally got the third position before the end of the race, and clinched his third title after 2008 (with Seat) and 2010 (with Chevrolet).

Canadian driver Gary Kwok - who was born in Hong Kong -, had a tough week-end for his WTCC debuts aboard a BMW 320 TC. Kwok, from Toronto, was forced to retire at the end of race 1, before he suffered a heavy crash in race 2, that brought the safety car in. He escaped uninjured.
