The Forsythe duo of Paul Tracy and Mario Dominguez finished fourth and sixth today at the Tecate Grand Prix of Monterrey Presented by Roshfrans. source: whowon.com It was a long and uneventful race for the Forsythe team which managed to score some points but was never able to challenge the front runners. Paul Tracy started fifth and immediately stole fourth place from Bruno Junqueira, he managed to run a consistent race and held position until the checkered flag. Mario Dominguez combined his fuel saving skills and his ability to run quick laps on old tires to get around Oriol Servia during the pit stop exchange in front of thousands of fans that supported the Mexican driver on a very hot Sunday afternoon." Paul Tracy - Fourth - #3 INDECK Ford-Cosworth/Bridgestone/Lola "We have a lot of work to do; we have to be consistently quick at all the tracks, not just some of them. I had a good start and I managed to pass Bruno (Junqueira) on cold tires, I was able to keep up with the top 3 for a while but over long runs they were faster and I lost them, we just didn't have enough grip to keep up with them. I was also having problems with my drink bottle which was very distracting, water was splashing in my face so I ripped out the tube and was not able to drink most of it, and it was really hot today so that was rough. We finished fourth, which is OK for points, but we need to start winning races to be able to catch up to Bourdais on the Championship."
